Founded in 1991 by Linda Martinez Saville, “The Sandy Club: A Safe Place for Boys and Girls” emerged as a haven for youth in the Sandy City area. Linda’s upbringing and career experiences underscored the significance of caring for every individual in her community. What started as a double-wide trailer over 25 years ago has since evolved into a fully-dedicated and independently operated “safe place” facility, welcoming hundreds of children annually. This transformation stands as a testament to a legacy characterized by compassion, determination, and dedicated service to the youth of Sandy City.

The Sandy Club, with a legacy spanning over three decades, stands as a testament to the enduring vision and compassion initiated by Linda Martinez Saville.
